Most noise dosimeters consist of a small box that fits in the pocket or clips on the belt, with a cable going to a microphone on the lapel. The doseBadge has no separate box, no cable and the microphone is mounted in a position where it will not rub on clothing, generating false noise readings.
The doseBadge Noise Measurement Kits consist of the following items:

- Reader unit
- Sound Level Calibrator (built into Reader)

- Software (simple version and advanced version included)
- Carrying Case
Easy to Use
The doseBadge has been designed to be easy to use. The usual process (reset, calibrate, measure for full day, calibrate and download) is made by simple key presses on the Reader. The measurements can be read from the Reader's display or can be downloaded to a computer for storage and reporting.
The following parameters are measured by the doseBadge depending on whether it is set to OSHA (for USA and some other countries) or ISO (for UK, Europe and others):
OSHA LAVG, TWA, %Dose, Estimated %Dose
ISO LAeq, LEPd, SEL, %Dose, Exposure (Pa2h)
The doseBadge also measures the Peak Exceedance, measurement time, duration and battery status.
