The Noise Dosimeter is designed to be used for the noise assessment of workers who move between different machinery or other noise sources. The unit is fitted into the pocket or clipped on the belt, with the microphone mounted on the collar close to the ear.
The measurement is started at the beginning of the day and the instrument is left measuring for the full working shift. This ensures that all the noise that the worker is exposed to is measured.
The results of the measurements can be read from the meter's display or downloaded to a computer for storage and reporting.
This noise dosimeter has advanced data storage built in. It can store up to 256 individual measurements and can also store up to 25000 samples of the average noise level, giving a graph of the level over time when downloaded to a computer.
